Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients according to hospital policies and procedures. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care while working under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of practical nursing and hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia. A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is also mandatory for this role.
