The Physical Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients under supervision, focusing on restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing disability through medically prescribed physical therapy. This involves evaluating patient conditions, developing treatment plans, administering various physical treatments, and recording progress.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a B.S., M.S., or Doctoral degree from an accredited Physical Therapy school, and hold a current Texas Physical Therapy license and CPR Certification. Acute/Hospital experience is preferred, and the role requires the ability to communicate effectively in English.
