The clinician is responsible for continuous clinical assessment of clients and making timely recommendations regarding appropriate levels of care. They will also coordinate treatment planning and maintain documentation for an average caseload of 15-18 clients.
Candidates must have a Master's level degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, along with knowledge of ASAM dimensions and effective treatment principles. Ongoing personal education and effective communication skills are also required.
Master's level degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Commitment to ongoing personal education, training, related certifications, and skill development in implementation of Fellowship House services. Knowledge of ASAM dimensions and levels of care; knowledge of Recover Oriented Systems of Care; knowledge of NIDA Principles of Effective Treatment; should continually increase knowledge/proficiency as part of ongoing professional development Knowledge of the bio-psychosocial effects of addiction/co-occurring disorder in the individual, family, and community; should continually increase as part of professional development Effective written and oral communication skills, regarding clinical activities within the program and outreach/community activities representing the program; ability to attend to and utilize multiple streams of information. Ability to work in a partnership/consultant relationship with clients, indidividually and in groups to effectively and efficiently develop, implement and measure fulfillment of individualized treatment plan Ability to work in a team oriented system, incorporating contributions of client, employees, and collaterals in treatment planning and continuous clinical assessment Valid driver's license
