The Homemaker Assistant provides physical, psychosocial, and social support to residents in independent living and assisted living settings, ensuring quality care aligns with daily assignments and established practice guidelines. Essential duties include actively engaging residents, reporting changes to supervisors, maintaining clean living areas, and completing required documentation.
Candidates must successfully complete annual competencies to provide hands-on care in Assisted Living, including hygiene, feeding, dressing, toileting, and transfers as per the care plan. A valid driver's license is required for safely transporting residents to appointments.
