The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines, adhering to the scope defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. This role involves delivering direct patient care within the Operating Room setting.
Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of nursing and holding an active, good-standing Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia, along with current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree and two years of prior Registered Professional Nurse experience.
