The role involves practicing high-quality veterinary medicine as a full-time or part-time Surgeon, requiring compassion and strong communication skills within a team setting. A significant part of the practice involves solving lameness issues, including performing specialized orthopedic procedures like Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Veterinary degree or equivalent, and should be a Board Certified Surgeon or residency-trained surgeon, though experienced surgeons without formal training may also be considered. An active veterinary state license is required, while a current DEA License and USDA Accreditation are preferred.
