The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will use a strengths-based recovery-focused approach to facilitate group and individual/family therapy services for individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team alongside behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to deliver integrated healthcare.
A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. Candidates must possess a temporary license or be recognized as an Associate by the State of Indiana and must be actively working towards full licensure.
The Addictions Therapist will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals. Education/Experience/Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required Community Mental Health experience highly preferred Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred Licensure Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana or license eligible Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) by the State of Indiana, a plus
