The Memory Care Activity Assistant creates a joyful and engaging environment for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia. They design and implement age-appropriate activities to maximize residents' cognitive and physical abilities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training program. They must also demonstrate core values of compassion, accountability, relationships, and excellence.
The Memory Care Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.
