The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical support, including patient preparation, vital signs measurement, and the administration of injections and immunizations. They also handle care coordination, clinical documentation, and laboratory testing within a primary care setting.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, completion of a qualified Medical Assistant course, and be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with BLS certification. Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required.
The Certified Medical Assistant assists in preparation for patient care, provides care coordination, clinical documentation, and other clinical support functions in a physician practice office setting.
High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of qualified Medical Assistant course.
Minimum: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant and Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
