The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts therapy programs to facilitate the rehabilitation of individuals with physical or psychosocial disabilities by directing participation in selected activities to restore or maintain good health. This role involves performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, executing effective treatment techniques, educating patients/families, and participating in discharge planning.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and licensed as a Physical Therapist in Ohio and/or hold a Multi-State Compact license, with required evaluation and treatment skills appropriate for the patient caseload. The position requires professional initiative, good time management, interpersonal skills, and the physical ability to treat patients and assist with mobility, with Basic Life Support required within 90 days.
