The Speech-Language Pathologist organizes and conducts services to facilitate the rehabilitation of individuals with physical, psychosocial, speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disabilities. This includes performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, directing patient participation in activities, and educating patients and families.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and hold a current Speech Language Pathologist license from the State of Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, along with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and Basic Life Support certification. Experience in a similar role is preferred, and the role requires professional initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
