The pathologist will be responsible for signing out office-based GYN breast biopsies and/or liquid-based GYN Cytology specimens, and interacting with OB/GYN providers to communicate cancer diagnoses and answer inquiries. Additional duties include participation in PT and QA programs and potentially serving as Technical Supervisor over Molecular Microbiology.
Candidates must possess an MD/DO with AP or AP/CP board certification and must have State of Texas licensure or eligibility. GYN Pathology expertise is required, with a GYN fellowship strongly preferred, and Cytopathology fellowship certification being a plus.
