General Cardiologist Opportunity - Rutland, Vermont

• A healthcare organization located in Rutland is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Cardiologist to join a well-established cardiovascular care team.

• Position Overview The Cardiologist will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with cardiovascular conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• The role involves working closely with primary care providers and other specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions Perform and interpret cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring Manage outpatient clinic visits and inpatient consultations as needed Develop and implement patient treatment plans and preventive care strategies Provide patient education on cardiovascular health, risk factors, and lifestyle management Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives Community Overview Located in the scenic Green Mountains, Rutland offers a welcoming community with excellent outdoor recreation, cultural attractions, and a high quality of life.
