Job Requirements Education Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or another human services related field Experience A minimum of one year of post-master’s clinical experience with major mental illness, counseling/therapy, and/or substance use/abuse treatment License/Certifications Nebraska Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) or Nebraska Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) required Licensed Alcohol Drug Abuse Counselor (LADC) preferred Certified Marriage and Family Therapist (CMFT) preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Ability to attentively listen to clients, understanding both verbal and non-verbal cues. Capacity to understand and share the feelings of others. Skill and ability to clearly express ideas and thoughts, both verbally and in writing. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients. Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences and social determinants of health and their impact on mental health. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries. Ability to adhere to all state, federal and organizational regulatory and ethical standards. Ability to prioritize self-care to avoid burnout and maintain professional effectiveness. Ability to solicit and accept feedback for ongoing improvement and learning Ability to work set hours for their specific position which may include early morning, and/or some evenings Ability to travel occasionally between locations as needed Ability to provide services via telehealth as needed.
