The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families, focusing on maintaining a consistent caseload and delivering evidence-based care. Responsibilities include conducting bio-psycho-social needs assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and completing all clinical documentation accurately and on time.
Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted license as a Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in California, along with a Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field. A strong background in evidence-based practices and the ability to provide independent psychotherapy are essential qualifications.
Role Summary The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
Licensed Therapist Responsibilities Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation Full Time: Maintain an active caseload of approximately 5–6 clients per day; minimum of 25 clients per week required Part Time: Maintain an active caseload of approximately 3-4 clients per day; minimum of 15 clients per week required Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
Licensed Therapist Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in California (Active & Registered with BBS/BOP) Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) Ability to provide therapy independently Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc. Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
