The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct client care within a medically monitored, 24/7 detoxification center and residential unit, supporting individuals through the withdrawal process in a structured and clinically supervised environment. This role includes diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, and complex health problems, alongside health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education.
Candidates must possess a current Nurse Practitioner License with Prescriptive Authority as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, along with an active Oregon Registered Nurse License. Essential qualifications also include National Board Certification in the specialty, an NPI number, a DEA license for controlled substances, and current CPR certification.

Willamette Family is looking for a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for Withdrawal Management and residential treatment in our Buckley Program.
Position Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), providing direct client care in a medically monitored, 24/7 detoxification center and residential unit. This role supports individuals through the withdrawal process in a compassionate, structured, and clinically supervised environment. Our facility serves 55 beds, offering increased opportunities for impactful care.
Current Nurse Practitioner License with Prescriptive Authority as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing Current Oregon License as Registered Nurse National Board of Certification within the specialty NPI number Drug Enforcement Administration license for prescription of controlled substances Current CPR certification Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen(s) The Practitioner may provide a wide range of health care services, including the diagnosis and management of acute, chronic and complex health problems; health promotion; disease prevention; health education; and counseling to individuals, families, groups and communities. Interventions are based upon established priorities and consistent with the Practitioner’s specialized education and clinical practice. Practitioners blend the scientific process, current evidence and national standards of care with a holistic approach to manage patient care and foster professional practice. The Practitioner, together with the patient and care teams, establishes an evidence-based, mutually acceptable, cost-conscious, effective plan of care that maximizes health potential.
