Substance abuse counselors will provide culturally appropriate substance use services, including assessments, progress discussions, and updating individual plans and goals for patients in the detoxification unit and medically managed residential program. Responsibilities also include maintaining case management documentation, coordinating care with staff and partners, and assisting with crisis intervention and safety planning.
The minimum qualification requires the applicant to be a CADC I with experience in Assessments and ASAM, alongside a High School/GED completion. Employment is contingent upon passing a Department of Human Services Background Check and a pre-employment drug screening, including Cannabis/THC.
