The Direct Support Professional will support the individual goals of the person served, assisting with mobility, daily living activities, health management, and community integration in the least restrictive manner. Key duties include monitoring safety 24/7, fostering trusting relationships, and assisting with personal care, skill-building, and participation in social and leisure activities.
Candidates must possess a strong desire to help others, exhibiting empathy, patience, trustworthiness, and professionalism in all interactions. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, a valid State of Michigan driver's license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the capacity to become certified in CPR/First Aid.
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports the individual goals of the person served and helps them become integrated into his/ her community in the least restrictive manner. The DSP may assist in areas of mobility, activities of daily living, communication, cognition, health management, social networking, vocational, leisure time management, and community participation.

Family Nurse Practitioner
Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
