The Staff Nurse provides competent professional nursing care through assessment, planning, delivery, and patient education, while also assisting physicians with endoscopic and other diagnostic/therapeutic procedures in the GI Laboratory. Key duties include resolving scheduling issues, following sedation protocols, proper specimen handling, and validating endoscope cleaning techniques.
Candidates must maintain an active Registered Nurse license in Ohio and hold current certifications in CPR, basic arrhythmia, airway management, and ALS. The role requires the ability to formulate care plans, document patient conditions, assess patient needs, and quickly understand and troubleshoot complex equipment.
