The Clinical Specialist assists the physician and team in providing medical care within an Orthopedic and/or Pain clinic, which includes interviewing patients, measuring vitals, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with examinations and treatments. Essential duties also involve maintaining electronic medical records, coordinating scheduling, submitting prescriptions, and potentially serving as a Preceptor for new hires.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, and have 1-2 years of experience. Required qualifications include current Medical Assistant certification (or ability to obtain within six months) and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Assists the physician, along with other members of the team, in providing medical care to patients of the Orthopedic and/or Pain clinic. Assists with the maintenance of patients’ electronic medical records. Provides exceptional customer service to the patient, patient’s family and colleagues. CCMA preferred.
