The Registered Nurse administers patient care in an acute care hospital setting, which includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress toward outcomes. Responsibilities also involve functioning as a patient advocate, serving in roles like preceptor or charge nurse, and collaborating with the medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and maintain a current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license, along with current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. A minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience is generally required, unless otherwise approved.
Administers patient care in an area in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting where an acute care patientreceives active treatment for an injury, episode of illness, a medical condition, or post intervention with assessment.
