The Physical Therapist is responsible for screening, evaluating, re-evaluating, and managing the plan of care for residents, including supervising treatment implementation by assistants. Key duties involve establishing appropriate treatment plans, providing thorough discharge planning, and educating staff and family members.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited program, along with active state licensure and certification as established by national board associations. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills are also required.
