$20 - $27 / HOUR
This role involves cross-training as a Health Unit Coordinator, coordinating patient placement, and settling post-anesthesia patients by obtaining vitals and assisting with various patient care tasks per RN request. Responsibilities also include assisting with activities of daily living, patient transport, and engaging with patients and families to build trust.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program, along with one year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant. Required certification includes BLS/CPR within three months of hire, and listing on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry is preferred.
.60 FTE, 24 hours/week. Monday through Friday with variable (8) eight-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00am-8:00pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.
UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
External hires may be eligible for a $1800 sign on bonus (pro-rated on FTE).
