The counselor conducts assessments and develops comprehensive treatment plans for clients in a residential setting. Responsibilities include leading group and individual counseling sessions and maintaining accurate documentation in Electronic Health Records.
A high school diploma is required, though a Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work is preferred. Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling within a residential treatment setting.
