Medical Assistants are responsible for blending clinical skills, such as triaging patients, performing venipuncture, and conducting point-of-care testing, with administrative duties like insurance verification and front desk operations. They also ensure accurate patient registration, collect co-pays, and provide clear patient education and discharge instructions.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and possess active national MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) upon hire, along with at least one year of experience in insurance verification and patient registration. Additional requirements include current BLS certification, passing a drug screen and background check, and full availability for evenings/weekends and potential floating to nearby centers.

Whether you’re triaging a patient, drawing blood, or ensuring accurate insurance eligibility, you’ll play a key role in delivering care and ensuring our services are paid correctly.
Work environment Fast-paced urgent care with frequent role-switching; prolonged standing/walking; routine exposure to blood and body fluids (strict PPE adherence); occasional lifting up to 25–30 lbs; weekend/evening shifts and float coverage as needed.

Final compensation offers will be determined based on a combination of factors, including experience, certifications, education, and geographic location.
