The Social Services Assistant provides medically related social services to residents under the supervision of the Social Services Director. The primary goal is to attain or maintain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being for residents.
A High School Diploma is required, though a Social Services Designee Certificate is preferred; an associate or bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is preferred. Candidates should possess a strong passion for geriatric advocacy and prior social services experience is preferred.
