Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and have completed an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Board certification or eligibility, an active medical license in Oregon, strong clinical judgment, and surgical expertise are required.
Job Title: General Orthopedic Surgeon (MD/DO)
We are seeking a skilled General Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. The surgeon will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of orthopedic disorders using both surgical and non-surgical approaches, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing operative and non-operative techniques. Perform orthopedic surgical procedures as appropriate, including fracture repair and joint-related procedures. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and coordination of rehabilitation services. Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Respond to orthopedic consultations and emergency cases as required. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development activities.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Active medical license to practice in the state of employment. Strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and communication skills. Work Environment: Hospital, surgical center, and outpatient clinic settings. Collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities for professional growth and continuing education. Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
