The physician will provide comprehensive care including outpatient clinic services, inpatient rounding, and performing a high volume of interventional procedures, utilizing advanced cardiac support devices. Responsibilities also include participating in specialized therapies for refractory angina, engaging in clinical research, and sharing equal call responsibilities within the group.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology and hold an active state medical license or eligibility. Required education includes successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program and fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology, along with AHA-approved BLS certification.
A well-established cardiovascular practice is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary cardiac team. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient care, and interventional procedures within a comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes advanced clinical services and an active research environment.
Provide outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, and interventional procedures Utilize advanced cardiac support devices, including Impella, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and temporary pacemakers Participate in a high-volume interventional practice performing approximately 125–150 diagnostic and interventional procedures per month Support and participate in specialized therapies for patients with refractory angina, including Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) Engage in clinical research and participation in cardiovascular clinical trials Share call responsibilities equally within the group, including a 1:4 weekend call rotation Participate in resident and/or trainee education as applicable Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team with dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support Practice Environment Well-established cardiovascular practice with multiple regional clinic locations State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, catheterization laboratories, and nursing support Dedicated office space located in proximity to the hospital Robust clinical infrastructure supported by experienced administrative and clinical staff Certifications & Licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure AHA-approved BLS certification Required Education Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan Comprehensive benefits package, including: Relocation assistance Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, and CME) CME allowance Retirement plans with employer matching Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Professional liability insurance with tail coverage
