The Occupational Therapist will assess residents, create personalized care plans, and provide skilled therapy to enhance Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions. Responsibilities also include teaching adaptive strategies, collaborating with the rehab team, and maintaining accurate documentation of progress and outcomes.
Candidates must possess an active Occupational Therapist license in California and hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Essential qualifications include knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, adaptive equipment, and strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, communication, and documentation.

Up to $2,340 weekly Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks Contract type: Travel, Permanent, or Travel-to-Perm Clinical Duties: Assess residents and create personalized OT care plans. Provide skilled therapy to improve ADLs and mobility. Treat orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions. Teach adaptive strategies and safe use of assistive devices. Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams for coordinated care. Communicate goals and discharge plans with residents and families. Maintain accurate evaluations, notes, and progress documentation. Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions for optimal results. Follow facility policies and state regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California. Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment. Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
