The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist develops and implements anesthesia care plans, administering various types of anesthesia for diverse procedures while continuously monitoring patients. Key duties include performing comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations, preparing operating rooms, managing anesthesia during all phases of procedures, and providing post-anesthesia care.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia, hold active CRNA, RN, and National Board Certifications, and maintain BLS/ACLS certifications. Required competencies include advanced anesthesia techniques, strong communication skills, and the ability to function effectively in high-stress clinical environments.
