Interns will assist the dental staff by preparing treatment areas, ensuring a clean workspace, and shadowing professionals during patient examinations and procedures. Key duties also involve sterilizing instruments, maintaining inventory, and engaging with patients to provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a dental assisting program or a related field, demonstrating a strong desire to learn practical dental experience. Essential qualities include excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team while maintaining a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Assist dental staff in preparing treatment areas and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Shadow dental professionals during patient examinations and procedures. Observe and learn about various dental treatments and techniques. Assist in sterilizing dental instruments and maintaining inventory. Help manage patient records and appointment scheduling. Engage with patients to provide a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a dental assisting program or related field. Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus. Strong desire to learn and gain practical experience in the dental field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
