The Hospitalist Physician will manage hospitalized adult patients, including admitting, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include coordinating care with specialists and staff, documenting in the EMR, responding to emergencies, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with an active medical license in the state. Strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and teamwork are essential.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Active medical license to practice in [State]. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in inpatient medicine. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Working Conditions: Hospital-based inpatient practice. Shift-based schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Exposure to a broad range of acute medical conditions. Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
