The Pharmacy Technician will primarily prepare and dispense medications by measuring, counting, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, while also processing prescription orders accurately in pharmacy systems. Other duties involve maintaining patient records, setting up doses, and supporting workflow efficiency for healthcare providers.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and hold an active Illinois State Pharmacy Technician Licensure. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, is required, with the ability to obtain CPhT certification within one year of hire.
