The primary role involves providing assistant surgical services in the operating room under surgeon direction, including assisting with prepping, closing incisions, and removing drains and catheters. Additionally, the role supports patient office visits, assumes call duties, and handles all necessary charting and documentation for care and billing.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing, specifically an NP Degree Emphasis or Program Certificate equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of clinical experience. Required credentials include an SC Nurse Practitioner license and a CPR Certification, with a Nurse Practitioner Surgical Residency Program completion accepted in lieu of some minimum requirements.
