The Occupational Therapist administers intermittent occupational therapy to patients in their residence according to physician orders and the established plan of care, which includes evaluating functional status and the home environment for barriers. Responsibilities also involve developing treatment programs, teaching new skills to patients recovering from illness or injury, and maintaining accurate clinical records and progress reports.
Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited occupational therapy curriculum and registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association, with one year of clinical experience preferred. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with reliable transportation and the physical ability to lift up to 35lbs.

Optimal Care is hiring an Occupational Therapist!
The Occupational Therapist administers occupational therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician or advanced practice practitioner’s orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Home Health leadership team.
8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Range $75,000—$96,000 USD
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Screening is completed by a third-party administrator, the Michigan Long-Term Care Partnership, and is performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
