The Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, and order and interpret diagnostic tests. Key duties also include prescribing treatments, developing care plans, educating patients, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee. Strong clinical and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, are essential.
Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate Develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate and timely medical records Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (NP Program) Active Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee Strong Clinical and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Psychiatrist - VA Medical Center Contract (any state license) | $180/hour + Bonus
