This role involves processing tissue samples by performing grossing (bx), processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining slides to prepare them for histological diagnosis. The incumbent must also comply with all departmental policies, standards, and requirements for maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI).
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in biological or chemical science along with CLIA '88 certification for high complexity testing, or a Bachelor's Degree with the same certification requirement. Required licensure is HT or HT Eligible, and basic computer proficiency is mandatory.
