The role involves providing comprehensive cardiac care to adult patients in an inpatient setting, including performing examinations, ordering tests, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities also include conducting rounds, follow-up visits, discharge planning, and participating in outpatient clinic appointments.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and possess current Georgia licensure or eligibility, along with required BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of one year of cardiology or inpatient Advanced Practice Provider experience is strongly preferred.
