The role involves performing 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping, and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities also include maintaining performance improvement documentation for cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC standards.
Candidates must hold an appropriate credential in echocardiography, such as RDCS, RCS, RCCS, CRCS, or ACS, from recognized certifying bodies. A requirement also includes holding the American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

REQUIRED An appropriate credential in echocardiography: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support Work Hours: 7AM-530PM Weekend Requirements: No On-Call Requirements: No
