The role involves providing comprehensive care to trauma and surgical emergencies, managing inpatient care including rounding, and occasionally handling new consults and trauma activations. Responsibilities also include participating in the post-operative clinic and performing bedside procedures or assisting in surgical operations.
Candidates must possess an active Texas PA or NP license and demonstrate the ability to handle the intense demands of a trauma center and acute care setting. Experience in Trauma/Acute Care Surgery is considered a plus, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Surgical Affiliates Management Group is excited to invite a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Trauma/Acute Care Surgery (ACS) program. This position is based at The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, a prominent 500-bed Level III Trauma Center located in El Paso, TX. Join our team of professionals in providing top-tier trauma and emergency surgical care to the community.
Active Texas PA or NP license. Experience in Trauma/Acute Care Surgery a plus. Capable of handling the intense demands of a trauma center and acute care setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
