The primary role involves accurately and safely administering prescribed medications to residents, monitoring for adverse reactions, and documenting all administration and resident responses in the EHR. Staff members are also expected to assist with various facility tasks, including caregiving, cooking, or housekeeping, demonstrating flexibility across different operational needs.
Candidates must possess the required Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA) certification and Insulin Administration Certification valid in the state of practice. CPR certification is preferred, and applicants should be prepared for a versatile role that includes duties beyond primary medication administration.
