The technologist will provide diagnostic services, including performing various radiological procedures using specialized equipment in hospital or clinical settings. Duties also involve image processing, utilizing RIS/PACS systems, and assisting radiologists with quality assurance and exam clarification.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and hold an Oregon Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License upon hire, along with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification. Completion of an AMA-approved program in radiology technology is also required.
To provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, to include clerical duties as required. To perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects the KPNW Mission and philosophy.
Professional experience as a Radiographer with variety in imaging. Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning; attention to detail; problem solving, decision making, judgment; technical skills; initiative; communication, interpersonal skills, customer relations, organizational relations. Adaptability; following Policies and Procedures; flexibility. PACS. Digital equipment.
This float position covers operations at Sunnybrook, Mt. Talbert, Mt. Scott, Rockwood and Gateway medical offices.
