The analyst will provide program analysis and support for the Defense Health Agency's Component Office for Research Integrity and Misconduct, overseeing research misconduct and integrity activities. Responsibilities include developing guidelines, coordinating workflow, and supporting investigations and training programs.
A minimum bachelor's degree and experience in a Research Integrity and Misconduct role are required. Candidates must be U.S. citizens capable of obtaining a Secret level clearance and passing a DHA background investigation.
Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Experience working in a Research Integrity and Misconduct (RIM) role. Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret level clearance. Ability to successfully pass a DHA background investigation.
Provide program analysis and support for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Component Office for Research Integrity and Misconduct (CORIM). The CORIM program serves over 700 medical treatment facilities, centers of excellence, public health organizations, research institutions, and mentors’ researchers on research integrity regulatory requirements. It oversees and directs research misconduct and integrity activities, including investigations, education, and policy development, to promote a culture of ethical research practices. Provide support developing guidelines, policies, and procedures, and coordinate the workflow of the DHA research misconduct and integrity activities and regulatory oversight and review process. Provide support to the government with investigating and resolving unanticipated problems and allegations of noncompliance or research misconduct. Support Service working groups, policy reviews, quarterly and town hall meetings, and data calls. Coordinate and facilitate meetings by providing attendees all necessary materials before the meeting, arranging conference rooms, attending meetings, and preparing a summary of the meeting proceedings. Provide support in the development and maintenance of training programs for researchers, reviewers, and institutional officials for research involving humans as subjects and research involving animals. Develop and distribute newsletters and routine information updates for and to the CORIM stakeholder communities.
