The Community Mental Health Worker supports children and youth with serious mental health challenges in their daily lives and communities. They also provide support to parents, caregivers, and families to ensure meaningful engagement in services.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with two years of applicable experience or a Master’s degree with one year of experience in a related field. They must also clear various background checks and possess a valid driver’s license.
$20.00–$21.00 (depending on related experience)
The Community Mental Health Worker plays an important role in supporting children and youth with serious mental health challenges achieve success in their daily lives and communities. Support is also provided to the parents, caregivers and families to ensure meaningful engagement in services. Services may include outreach and education, advocacy, social skills and emotional regulation. These services are provided in home and community locations.
