The Advanced Practice Provider delivers patient-centered, culturally sensitive, quality care by performing complete history and physical examinations, providing assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patients' needs. This role involves ordering appropriate tests, implementing care plans in collaboration with the clinical team, and providing patient/family counseling and education.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing with a defined clinical specialty and a minimum of five years' experience in related clinical practice demonstrating leadership and teaching skills. Required credentials include current Connecticut APRN licensure, specialty certification, passing the State of Connecticut approved Pharmacology course, DEA licensure, and current Basic Life Support/ACLS certification.
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant with pediatric experience. Current state licensure required. Experience in complex pediatric care or chronic disease management preferred. QUALIFICATIONS Required: Master's Degree in Nursing with a defined clinical specialty or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Minimum of five years' experience in related clinical practice with demonstrated leadership and teaching skills.
Current licensure or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Connecticut.
Passed the State of Connecticut approved Pharmacology course required in Master's Degree Program.
DEA licensure required for narcotic prescription.
