The technologist utilizes laboratory skills to execute and report results from defined laboratory procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include specimen processing, performing quality control, routine maintenance, and providing instruction when required.
A minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited program, along with basic computer literacy. National certification compliant with federal/state regulations is also mandatory.
Utilizes laboratory skills to perform and report results of clearly defined laboratory procedures assuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
