The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, while providing routine nursing care according to individualized care plans. This role involves observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team to promote dignity, comfort, and safety.
Applicants must possess an active and in-good-standing certification on the Maine CNA Registry and demonstrate the ability to work professionally with colleagues, residents, and families. Proficiency in spoken and written English, along with basic computer skills, is also required.
Description Join Our Care Team We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. CNAs are assigned to a specific care area, which may include memory care, long-term care, or skilled nursing, depending on the position. The CNA is a valued member of the nursing team responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities and providing routine nursing care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan. Flexible 8 and 12-hour shift schedules available! Five 8-hour shifts per week 3 12-hour shifts per week 4 days on, 2 days off rotations Every other weekend rotations Baylor schedules Key Responsibilities Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Deliver care in accordance with individualized care plans and established nursing standards Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to the nursing team Support residents’ independence, preferences, and dignity while maintaining safety Assist with positioning, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques Communicate effectively with nurses, team members, residents, and families Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Document care provided according to facility policies Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols
Active and in-good-standing certification on the Maine CNA Registry Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in spoken and written English Basic computer skills
