A Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering physical therapy services based on medical direction, professional judgment, and patient needs to restore function and relieve pain following injury or disease. This involves organizing and conducting therapy programs in the hospital and community to help patients achieve optimal physical abilities.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapist educational program and maintain a current physical therapy license in Iowa, along with current BLS certification. No prior experience is required if education and licensure requirements are met.
