The role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery by developing and implementing programs that promote person-centered leisure skills, independence, advocacy, and well-being for individuals served and their families. Responsibilities also include advocating for service recipients, collaborating with community organizations, providing necessary transportation, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a higher educational degree preferred, and at least one year of experience in community habilitation, respite services, or related fields, understanding the needs of people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Applicants must have access to their own vehicle with required insurance and be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
