Veterinary Assistant

Key duties involve managing patient care, including restraint, triage, sample collection, diagnostic imaging, and nursing hospitalized cases with varying stability. Assistants will also handle medication administration, surgical preparation, anesthetic management, and effective communication of treatment plans to clients.

Candidates should ideally possess a minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and demonstrate traits such as compassion, calmness, teamwork, multi-tasking, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in sample collection, medical history taking, lab processing, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring is preferred but considered a bonus.
